Sehnen, Kabel und Loop eines Compounds sind Verschleißmaterial, das regelmäßig durch den Schützen und / oder den Fachhändler auf Verschleiß kontrolliert und ggf. ausgetauscht werden muss.
Unsachgemäße Handhabung des Bogens (z.B. Leerschuss!) kann zu Schäden an Sehnen, Kabel, Cams, Wurfarmen – also dem Compound insgesamt - führen. Danach sollte mit dem Compound, ohne sachgemäße Kontrolle, nicht mehr geschossen werden! Unsachgemäße Handhabung schließt Garantieansprüche des Herstellers aus!
